If you have treats you're still working on, post them whenever they're ready - everybody loves an extra gift, and the collection does not close! 

Recipients, please make sure you comment on your gift(s) to thank your creator(s). Please also comment on other works in the exchange - everyone enjoys comments!

We hope you like yours and are excited to create for it!

Anyone who still has a placeholder Dear Creator letter, please make sure it is finished and unlocked before Thursday. (The first thing most creators do is look at that letter - if you don’t have it done now, get it done ASAP!)

Assignments are due Sunday, 23 October 2022, 8:00 PM UTC.

Minimum requirement is 500 words (authors) or a nice sketch on clean, unlined paper (artists).

We know life happens - if it looks like you will for whatever reason be unable to complete your assignment, please default as soon as you are sure. This allows us as much time as possible to arrange a pinch hit. There is no penalty for defaulting before the due date.

Any pinch hits will be posted as soon as we know about them.

Treats - meaning extra gifts - are always welcome, and anyone can create them, signed up or not. If you see a prompt you love and would like to create something for it, go for it! (Treats are not subject to the minimum requirements and have no deadline.) If you think you might like to treat, you can find all the requests in the Requests Summary, and the collection is here.

Please read over the Sign-Ups and Matching sections of this year’s information post for full details on sign-ups and how matching works.

Once you’ve done that, the sign-up form is here.

Key things to know:

  • You need an AO3 account to sign up.
  • You must make at least 3 (three) requests in 2 different fandoms.
  • You must make at least 4 (four) offers.
  • All requests and offers must contain at least 3 Character tags.
  • Make sure to state whether each request or offer is art or fic.
  • Offering “Any Character” in fandoms with more than 20 character tags requires mod approval this year - this is so we can verify you understand what you are offering and that you will not be re-matched.
  • Do not attempt to offer or request characters, pairings, or groups not found in the tagset.
  • All DNWs must be entered on the AO3 sign-up form.
  • If there is information the mods should be aware of to produce a good match for you, include it in your sign-up. Do not assume we are aware of it.
