Post-deadline pinch hit

If you have time and are so inspired, now is the time for the writing of treats! Please see the requests summary and write or draw a little optional extra, of any length or style, for the person or people of your choice.
There are a couple of extensions outstanding, so if your story hasn't been posted yet and you're not on the pinch hit list, don't worry, you haven't been forgotten.

I see much written about Nerdanel and her relationship with her husband or sons. I would love to see more Nerdanel on her own or Nerdanel and her relationship(s) with her grandson and/or sisters-in-law. The worldbuilding tags are guidelines, not definites - feel free to do Nerdanel in the Years of the Trees or Nerdanel post-First Age if that's what moves your muse.

I'm curious about the family dynamics. What did the royal family of Menegroth look like before Beren came along when it was just them in private, or just them and other close friends/family around?

Elrond and family at the end of the Third Age/beginning of the Fourth Age. This must have been a fairly intense time for all involved, with Arwen's choosing mortality, the twins' choice(s) not given in canon, and Elrond sailing (and presumably re-uniting with Celebrían in the West.) Show me a glimpse behind the scenes on the personal level - not the War or the Ring, just about what's going on in this family.
