Fandom Nominations

We had two new to us fandoms nominated.

We are thrilled to discover them, but unfortunately, we cannot include them in this round of IS. We do not add new fandoms midway or more through the nominations period. We will be happy to add Eärendilova Plavba (Eärendil's Voyage musical) and Horn of Gondor (fan film) to the next round of IS, and hope that whoever nominated them will be willing to write up promo posts so we can get the word out about these fandoms prior to nominations.

This also goes for other fandoms not currently in IS - we do not object to adding fandoms, but we prefer to add them before nominations open. And we will not add new fandoms more than 5 days into nominations - it's not only unfair to anyone who gets their nominations in early, it means people who are not already familiar with the fandom won't have adequate time to look into it before sign-ups. (Remember nominations are only how we form the tagset - people still need to offer/request things!)

Hi,
I am not sure of the status of my tag nominations? I don't see them in the fandom I nominated them for but I also can't edit them, so I'm not sure if I did them correctly or not?

Without knowing which tags we're talking about, I can't tell - we do not see who has nominated tags, and the mods often either modify a tag or move it to the appropriate fandom. (Also, sometimes tags are rejected as duplicates.) You can DM me or Elwin on here or on Discord and we'll do our best to help you figure it out.
